There is no need to Configure the WDS server, all you need to install it and make use of WDS services... once you install WDS on machine it creates "RemoteInstall" folder on the root directory. These folders have control files which respond to the PXE boot request and guide it to the PXE service point which further perform the OSD. Performing OSD via SCCM has prerequisite.
1. DHCP must be in the Environment 2. PXE service point must be enable. 3. WDS services ( but there is no need to configure the WDS)
